Tracy Vandyke, RN
WeCare Infusion Nurse
When patients seek treatment at WeCare, they not only receive infusions expertly administered by infusion nurse Tracy Vandyke, they receive the highest level of care and empathy from someone who understands how unbearable chronic pain can be. Four years ago, Vandyke suffered injuries in a serious motor vehicle accident – the pain she endured after the accident and during recovery motivated her to help others who cannot find the relief they desperately need to improve their quality of life.
Vandyke began her healthcare career as a phlebotomist for both hospitals and diagnostic centers. As someone with a self-proclaimed fear of needles who endured iron infusions and blood transfusions herself, Vandyke became extremely skilled at gaining IV access with minimal discomfort. While attending Lewis and Clark Community College’s nursing program, Vandyke served as a patient care tech, unit secretary and telemetry tech, and after her graduation in 2015, began working as an RN in hospital emergency departments. Vandyke currently cares for medically complex pediatric patients in addition to her role at WeCare.
Vandyke holds BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications and is a trained SANE Nurse (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner).
